Sarah has worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years, the past four at Bordinos where she served on the wait staff and as the floor manger. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Arkansas, but enjoys the energy and vibe of the restaurant industry.

Sarah’s grandmother was a chef, cooking at the Red Apple Inn & Country Club in her native Heber Springs and later opening her own restaurant called Rockette. Away from work Sarah enjoys gardening and creating meals with a Southern flair, something she learned from her mother and grandmother.

Favorite Bordinos entrée: “Everything is good and consistent here, so my favorite foods tend to change with my moods. The duck is wonderful and I really enjoy the market fish entrees. I’ve also been on a big risotto kick.”

Favorite Bordinos beverage: “Erin has turned me on to rosés and sparkling wines. My favorite at the moment is Lucien Albrecht, a nice dry sparkling rosé from France.”

Favorite thing about Bordinos: “We stay busy and I like the high-volume pressure and the pace of a popular restaurant. It keeps you on your toes. And I like that we stay on the cutting edge of the industry; it’s challenging and fulfilling.  And I like that I feel valued and respected as an employee.”
